I FINALLY started the Rebecca Cardi, I then had to un-start it.
I'd read about how the Rebecca instructions were dodgy, to say the least, so I decided to start on a sleeve, good practice for the real thing I thought. I merrily knit 32 rows of ribbing before reading the next instruction, which, if I had followed it, would have meant that the ribbing didn't line up with the next sequence - STRIKE 1.
I have now decided to knit both sleeves at once, so far I've re-cast on one sleeve and got a second ball of yarn out ready to cast on the second, what can I say, I got side-tracked...

by this...

That is a teeny, tiny little sock cuff.
My sister-in-law is due to have her 4th child in just a couple of weeks & in my usual style I have left it to the last minute before deciding to make a gift, I'm using the leftovers from the Pomatomus socks, I'm not sure if I'll have enough yarn but I have some scraps from the Peacock Socks that I might be able to use for heels & toes if I have to.

It's also my eldest Neice's 5th birthday this week, she's the one I'm making the shrug for but that has also been un & re-started recently but it's not going to be ready for gifting because it's just not working the way I want it to, so I've banished it to the naughty corner until it's ready to play nice.

And see, my little Penny is a girl after Cindy's own heart

Check out those GREEN paws!
