One Down...
I finally finished making all the hundereds of petals, well 45 to be precise, for "The Cake" & even managed to get some colour on a couple of them.
It's not wired together yet and it needs a few spots for a finishing touch, but they're not bad for a bit of sugar & wire - even if I do say so myself. Guess I haven't forgotten everything after all.

Wow, that is so awesome!!! When I first looked, I thought it was a real flower you were using as a model, and I was wondering where the picure of the flower you made was. I'm floored by your ability. I can't wait to see the whole finished cake. BTW, my grandfather was a florist and those orchids were his favorite flower. Thanks for helping me reminesce about him this morning.
Wow!!!! That is fantastic!!! You are so talented. I thought it was a real flower too!!! No wonder 45 felt like a hundred - they are so good. Mind like an elephant's then!!
